The Southwest Michigan Human Trafficking Task Force is a group of over 65 members serving Berrien, Van Buren, and Cass counties, a collaboration of law enforcement, non-governmental organizations, faith-based organizations and concerned citizens.  Our group started in August of 2012 in an effort to educate and raise awareness on how human trafficking is prevalent in today’s society. In August 2020 the task force joined MAP!  We are stronger together!

Our task force works diligently to address human trafficking in southwest Michigan.  Our mission is to educate and bring awareness to the communities of Southwestern Michigan about human trafficking and to further develop a plan for a victim-centered approach using a multidisciplinary team.
