Warm up this winter at the Hot Jammin’ Java Coffeehouse. The 5th annual cozy, candlelit “coffeehouse” will feature two outstanding musical acts: The Christopher Mark Jones Trio (Plus One): contemporary folk and Americana, where story, song and groove live happily ever after, and special guest The Troy Athens High School Jazz Band: with styles from swing to bebop, and fusion to funk, this highly talented and energetic group of young people will warm you up with their cool sounds. Hot beverages and homemade desserts will be available for a donation. All proceeds will support the ALS Association and Michigan Abolitionist Project in its work to end human trafficking. Tickets ($10) are available at the door.
