The Freedom Coalition brings together experienced community advocated in Southeast Michigan, for a unified and comprehensive approach to address human trafficking through prevention, awareness, survivor support, and specialized training. The Freedom Coalition plans to meet the 4th Tuesday of every other month for the sharing of best practices, case studies. education and training.
At the February meeting we welcome David Clayton who is the Outreach Coordinator for Families Against Narcotics (FAN) and “Hope Not Handcuffs“. Hope Not Handcuffs is an initiative started by FAN, aimed at bringing law enforcement and community organizations together in an effort to find viable treatment options for individuals seeking help to reduce dependency with heroin, prescription drugs, and alcohol. Since February 2017 they have provided hope to over 2,400 participants!
A light meal will be provided at 5:30 pm. A suggested donation of $2 is appreciated to cover the cost of food.
The meeting will end promptly at 7:30 pm.
