About the Hope For Freedom Walk
Beginning with a drive to simply “do something” Hope For Freedom Walkers took their first steps for justice 6 years ago. This spring, 6 years and $20,000+ raised later, we will walk once more and take a stand for freedom.
Our purpose is to raise funds and awareness to fight human trafficking.
Our focus is Southeast Michigan and Southeast Asia.
Our goal is to raise $10,000 each year.
Our strategy is for 100 walkers to each find 10 friends to donate $10.
Our partners & recipients of funds raised are Michigan Abolitionist Project (victim / survivor assistance) and Hope Rising Missions (prevention work in Southeast Asia).
Our hosts are Bethel Christian Church and the City of Warren.
