[Episode #20] March 3, 2021
The History of the Women’s Rights Movement

“Being allowed to live life in an atmosphere of religious freedom, having a voice in the government you support with your taxes, living free of lifelong enslavement by another person… These beliefs about how life should and must be lived were once considered outlandish by many. But these beliefs were fervently held by visionaries whose steadfast work brought about changed minds and attitudes…” – National Women’s History Alliance

Join us as we journey through the history of the Women’s Rights Movement. We’ll explore the tremendous accomplishments of women before us, the prevalence of gender-based violence throughout the years, and the necessary work ahead in order to prevent and end human slavery for good.
