Save Our Adolescents from Prostitution (S.O.A.P.)’s mission is to educate hotels & motels about how to identify and report human trafficking in order to prevent the commercial sexual exploitation of children. Volunteers provide soap labeled with the National Human Trafficking Hotline number, missing children posters, and resources to assist hotels with identifying and reporting human trafficking.
MAP’s Ann Arbor Community Group host S.O.A.P. 3 times a year in Ann Arbor before major events come to the area that significantly increase trafficking in local hotels. Lunch will be provided. $10 suggested donation to cover cost of lunch and hotel outreach resources. Appropriate for minors ages 16+ if joined by a parent or guardian.
