Holland: “Understanding Human Trafficking and Supporting Survivors: A Night with the Michigan Abolitionist Project and Leslie King

Join us for an impactful evening of learning about Human Trafficking and its effects on Survivors.

We will first learn about what Human Trafficking is, how to recognize the signs, and how we see it in Michigan. Then we will hear from Nationally known Speaker, Author and Survivor Leader Leslie King about how to continue supporting survivors after they leave their trafficking situation. She will share from her direct experience, and that of the thousands that she has worked with over the past 20 years to help us understand the unique challenges that survivors of human trafficking face as they leave their trafficker and seek to thrive in their futures.

*This presentation has been approved by NASW-Michigan for 1 Human Trafficking CE hour.
