MAP Presentation: Human Trafficking & Modern-Day Slavery

This presentation will provide an in-depth explanation of human trafficking, including the key components that distinguish a victim, common misconceptions, trafficker control tactics, and ways disabled persons may be more at-risk. In addition, attendees will learn the barriers that may prevent victims from self-identifying, the importance of recognizing potential indicators, as well as how to appropriately respond to suspected human trafficking situations.
