The MAP Freedom Coalition and the JATT Community Partner gathering are merging to form one group. The purpose is to unite and work together so we are more effective in addressing human trafficking in our community and better equipped to help victims and survivors.
The new JATT Freedom Coalition plans to meet every other month for the sharing of best practices, case studies. education and training. We will also invite participants to work on initiatives as they wish.
There is NO COST to attend; a light meal will be provided at 5:30pm and we will end promptly at 7:30pm.
We do ask attendees to register so we have an accurate food count.
At this first meeting Melissa Novak, the Human Trafficking Specialist from Wayne County Safe will present practical application of what it means to be victim-centered when working with trafficking victims and survivors.
