DESCRIPTION:This event is cancelled due to the recommendations of the CDC and the State of Michigan. Plans are to reschedule this event at a later date. All those who were registered to attend this event will receive an email update of future plans and event details. \nSOLD OUT –\nBasic Training in Human Trafficking for Advocates & Presenters\n\n\nJoin Hope Against Trafficking and Michigan Abolitionist Project (MAP) for a training to equip you to present and educate others about human trafficking. During this four-hour training course\, we will review human trafficking basics from Polaris\, along with how to address popular myths\, understand appropriate terminology\, review case studies\, and guidelines when working with survivors. Learn public speaking tips from our guest speaker and become a part of our state-wide prevention and awareness efforts!\n \nBreakfast and Lunch Included\nContinental Breakfast and Registration 8:30-9:00am\nSpace is limited and registration is required. $5 registration fee.
