SUMMARY:Ascension Hospital - Human Trafficking Training & Protocol for Preceptors
DESCRIPTION:Michigan Abolitionist Project will present an overview of human trafficking\, while Karen Gray-Sheffield (Director of Ascension Southeast Michigan Community Health) will provide preceptors with Ascension Hospital’s highly developed human trafficking protocol. Lead preceptors will learn how to identify potential victims\, the importance of trauma-informed care in the hospital setting\, and the steps to adhere to within the given protocol. \n  \nThank you to Ascension Hospital\, and specifically Karen Straetmans (Clinical Professional Development) for coordinating and having us a part of such an important training. \n  \nTHIS TRAINING IS NOT OPEN TO THE PUBLIC.\nThank you for your understanding in this matter.
