SUMMARY:End Exploitation: An Immersive Experience (Gaylord)
DESCRIPTION:May 4th\, 2026\n5:30pm-8:30pm\nE-Free Church\n1649 E. M-32 \nGaylord\, MI 49735\n*no registration required \n  \nHuman Trafficking is a global human rights issue affecting almost 28 million children\, women and men right now. \nA fact that many do not know though is that ¾ of people being trafficked\, are trafficked for labor. \nOur global industry has created many advancements and opportunities for individuals and communities around the world which we are grateful for. It has also taken transparency out of our supply chains and created pathways for traffickers to easily take advantage of the poor and marginalized in our world and force them to make the products we eat and wear everyday while traffickers profit annually over $236 billion dollars. \nThis is the why behind our project. \nWe want to shed light on Labor Trafficking and bring public awareness to our communities with tangible solutions for them to put into action as soon as they leave. \nThis will be a full body immersive experience. We want people to feel the cotton that is picked\, touch the coffee beans\, eat the chocolate\, hear stories of those who have been exploited\, sit at a sewing machine that could make their shirt. We want to leave a memory not just in minds\, but in bodies and hearts to help each person who walks through the experience to understand that trafficking is happening and we can be a part of the solution. \nJoin us on May 4th between 5:30 and 8:30 to walk through the experience! Trades of Hope is the featured vendor for the night so you will also have the opportunity to browse their amazing Fair Trade products! \nFor questions email: heather@map-mi.org \n

SUMMARY:Label Program Interest Meeting (virtual)
DESCRIPTION:  \n \nThe Label Program has been a MAP program for many years. We put labels in the bathroom stalls in Rest Areas with pull-off tabs that have the Human Trafficking Hotline number on them. They are placed in the stalls because this is one place where a trafficked person will most likely be alone and have the ability to take one of the tabs without a trafficker knowing. When they call the Hotline number they will be directed to someone able to help with their immediate situation and get them resources. \nThis fall we received approval from MDOT to place the labels in ALL Michigan Rest Areas! \nIf you are interested in volunteering to place labels in a rest area near you join one of our Label Program Interest Meetings in February! \n  \nThis meeting is on Wednesday\, February 25 at noon \nThere is no registration required. \nHere is the Zoom Information to join: \nhttps://us02web.zoom.us/j/82529882561?pwd=BaADqzdTzpHNxsWs6U7VJVp8FpaKGe.1 \nMeeting ID: 825 2988 2561\nPasscode: 918610
