DESCRIPTION:The Shelby Township Community Group will meet November 12th at 7pm at Shepherds Gate Church. \nCome November 12th and hear about two amazing people in our local community that are changing the lives of our youth every day! HAVEN PLACE is a wonderful ministry impacting the community and individuals through many types of events throughout the year! John and Tina Nagy were led by God to start Haven Place in 2014. Since the grand opening in March of 2015 thousands of lives have been transformed by Haven Place’s free classes and events. “We want people to live out their passions and dreams at Haven Place\, changing the next generation for better is what it’s all about” John and Tina have been to several countries on Mission trips\, worked with adults\, youth and children. They love to speak at various events about their journey to Haven Place and all that God is doing in New Haven\, their vision and goals for the future. John works as a program manager at US Farathane\, Tina worked in the Dental field for 25 years and retired to take on Haven Place’s ministries full time. Haven Place along with it’s volunteers and donors have impacted approximately 3\,606 lives in 2017\, and the numbers keep increasing through 2018! The Freedom Coalition plans to meet the 4th Tuesday of every other month for the sharing of best practices\, case studies. education and training. \nOctober 23rd Topic:\n Setting collaboration goals for 2019 \nIn August we heard from our community partners\, on meetings\, coalition guidelines\, and collaboration goals for 2019.  \nAt the October meeting\, we will follow up on those surveys and launch a new Coalition format goals for 2019.  \nWe encourage interested professionals and serious participants who have an interest in a deeper commitment to attend this important meeting.\n \nA light meal will be provided at 5:30 pm. A suggested donation of $2 is appreciated to cover the cost of food. \nThe meeting will end promptly at 7:30 pm. \nWe do ask attendees to register so we have an accurate food count.
